Gujranwala Waste Management Company (GWMC) establishes 8 emergency centers in all zones for rainy season which will remain functional 24/7 to meet any emergency. A control room is established at head office of GWMC. GWMC make close liaison with meteorological department for online information sharing and rain alerts are generated and issued to all zones on daily basis. The zone wise deployment of staff and vehicles at designated places are covered during 1st and 2nd shift. . The services of complaint redressal system remain available from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. A media campaign is launched to educate the masses of Gujranwala.
